Safeguarding strategies work best when they are comprehensive and customised to meet your organisation’s need.
From safeguarding reviews against local and international standards, policy writing, training or case, crisis or allegations management support, we will partner with you to guide you and your Safeguarding and Child Protection teams, to ensure policies and practices are practical, robust, impactful and fit for purpose. Ultimately, our work is child centred and focused on keeping children safe.
Consultations
We offer a 30 minute 'no commitment' conversation to allow us to understand your current position, concerns, challenges and next steps for Safeguarding your learning community for all. Our free service will work to identify steps needed to meet local and international standards which safeguard students, staff and the wider community and work towards excellence in caring for children.
Review & Audit
A Safeguarding and Child Protection Review (audit) will analyse and map your current data, policies, procedures and practice against a set of standards criteria. This will inform a detailed report, which will recognise good practice, address gaps in your existing safeguarding provision and standards, and empower you to build a strategic improvement plan.
Policy Development and Review
We will support you to implement or further develop bespoke Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and procedures, in line with statutory compliance, local and international standards. By adopting a measured and meaningful approach we can ensure that policies can be implemented and evidenced in daily practice in your setting.
Training and Webinars
Our face-to-face and online training in Safeguarding, Child Protection and Safer Recruitment are designed to support a common understanding and consistent application of procedures and practice in your community.
Depending on your needs and challenges, training can be generic or bespoke in nature. We can also develop webinars which capture your 'Culture of Care' and help to effectively deliver your message on Safeguarding, Child protection and Wellbeing. Delegate numbers will be discussed and agreed during consultation. Certificates of attendance will be provided to all who attend for the full duration of the training.
Safer Recruitment Development and Implementation
We can review your current recruitment and recording procedures and map against current international Safer Recruitment standards. A change management plan, including the implementation of a single central recording system (SCRC), will allow you to evidence processes and documentation, and to secure confidence in the systems used to appoint adults suitable to work with children.
Case, Crisis and Allegations Management
We can help you to develop case, crisis and allegation management plans, ensuring all relevant adults have clarity of role. Working in line with statutory reporting requirements, we can offer real-time practical support to the safeguarding teams managing complex cases.
Safeguarding Supervision
For adults involved in the day-to-day management of Safeguarding, Child Protection and Wellbeing cases, supervision is now recognised as an essential element of staff Welfare. Supervision provides a safe space to reflect on professional practice, actions and reactions; enabling staff to continue to provide a supportive environment for the children in thier care. Supervision is vital when complex cases are managed at school level due to limited statutory support and resources.
